![]() ![]() Half the island I'm using is lighter than the other half on google earth because I guess the satellite must have done half of it at one time and the other a different day. Need to grab a lot more images from google earth pro, stitch them, and photoshop it some. I'll post a smaller image of the heightfield map, I'ma leave the texture map out for a while though because it needs some work yet(meaning it looks not quite terrible but almost). However, I kind of dig the way some things changed so I started working with it again. But anyways, changing the res for the texture map is fine, but the heightmap, as I assumed, is distorted when loading it into 元DT. It's alright, I can handle wasting time and disappointments, I've been playing Arma long enough. ![]() Maybe I'm crazy for doing this with my practice map, but the thing is turning into something else lol. Sooo, I upscaled my texture image from 1024x1024 to 2048x2048 with a "horizontal scale"(as 元DT calls it) of 1 cell, which is suggested for FPS. Wa-wa-water update? Have BI actually talked about working on this or are these map designers just wishing upon a star? XD They are indeed, I know some map designers are building the dry river beds ready for the water update, so it can be added at a later date. ![]()
